Brian Keayes

Brian Keayes is a self diagnosed typophile, designer and computer geek. Add one part design, one part technology and one part business and the result is a unique approach to developing brand, marketing, advertising and communication devices. 

Brian graduated with a degree in Multimedia (Major in Design - QCA) from Griffith University in 2002. It was a diverse course covering typography, graphic design, 3d animation, digital film, sound production, programming and all things web.

The degree opened the doors to many projects and opportunities, ultimately giving Brian the tools to help businesses communicate effectively to their audience.

Brian moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2005 to start a family and co-founded VA in late 2009.

Career Highlights 

• Setup and run digital imaging for a startup research company based in USA and Europe, utilising first generation Nikon digital camera equipment, early Photoshop releases and the NEXT operating system which became the foundations to Mac OSX. 
• Design/develop one of the first skateboard e-commerce/community websites in Australia in 1999.
• Lead New Media Developer (Bechtel Corporation), producing large high-end marketing campaigns from his base in Osaka, Japan. Solutions encompassed web, film, interactive and live presentations for major mining and engineering projects in Dubai, Canada, China, Iceland, Chile and the US.
• Starting the web/interactive arm of a well known sunshine coast design studio.
• Design / manage development of G.J Gardner website in Australia and USA.
• Co-founder of Analogue/Digital Creative Conference
